Sausage LINKS anyone?

First of all, a big thank you for the great shout out from my friend Dan over at The Goal Posters. They are a brand new sports blog with lots of potential. I will also be contributing over there from time to time if you should happen to be interested.

Now, back to business of movies. Just a few quick links tonight. Should have another review either tomorrow or Thursday.

1. According to Jerry Bruckheimer, the third installment in the National Treasure series is a go.

2. Interesting NY Times article on the new Steve Carell, Tina Fey movie "Date Night" and others of its kind.

3. "Tron Legacy" hasn't even come out yet and they are already talking sequel. Apparently some writers from the TV show "Lost" will be involved.

4. Blasphemy! The Val Kilmer emblematic 1980s flick "Real Genius" is in talks for a remake.

  1. Thanks for the links. I sure hope NT3 is better than NT2, which I thought fell into the category of so many sequels, repeating the same basic story of the previous film (I guess it's the "It worked before, it'll work again" theory).

Speaking of links, I notice your link to Roger Ebert over there. Better warn your readers that (A) they better read the review AFTER they see the film, because he will give away the entire plot, and (B) since he became ill a few years ago, it seems like there isn't a movie on the planet that he doesn't love to pieces.

  2. Really like the idea of the links, guys. For those of us who may not be in-tune with the movie buzz (ahem...me), its nice to have highlights all in one place.

Quick request also. Though I realize that this movie may not be manly enough to stand up to others posted on the blog, consider reviewing "Date Night." Funny, and a nice little spin on the married-couple comedy genre.

  3. Thanks for the tips and requests ladies. Shani, we'll see if we can get around to Date Night soon. Ben and I've got a couple of things planned for the next few days though so it might be a while.
